Far too many people get far too worried about getting cancer, and this adds unnecessary and unhelpful stress, real stress, and stress that could actually cause health problems, perhaps not cancer, but such negative biofeedback is not good for anybody.

We have a mass media psychological crisis going on these days in America when it comes to cancer; there are far too many Big Pharma advertisements on TV, and far too many ads from cancer research nonprofits, attempting to scare people into donating. Yes, I know that bad news travels fast, and therefore, this is why they are using this method, unfortunately, it is scaring people into ill-health.

Yes, maybe medical insurance companies or even ObamaCare might also benefit from all this, but it’s not right what we are doing to our citizenry on this issue. Indeed, cancer is a horrible disease, and depending on the type of cancer far too serious to even wish to talk about it, and yes, we should have a national dialogue and 15 Billion Dollars in cancer research spent in the next 5-years to wipe it out.

All of us fear cancer. Why? The reason is many of us who have heard of someone having cancer have died. However, not all did. You may have heard of someone who was cured medically by doctors. Or you might have heard of miracle cancer survivors who were cured by natural means - which is often controversial. One of those controversial cancer cure or cancer treatment is the intake of asparagus. This is nothing new. It has been rumored that asparagus can cure cancer and has saved countless lives. Before we go on further, let us give cancer a bit of introduction.

Well, cancer is the out of control abnormal growth of abnormal cells. Our cells normally grow, divide and then die at some time. On the other hand, cancer cells do not follow this pattern. They continue to grow and divide thus creating more abnormal cells. Not only that, these abnormal cancer cells attack other healthy cells which in turn make them cancer cells as well (much like zombies creating other zombies by biting them…). Cancer cells are abnormal because of the stated things above plus the fact that their DNA is damaged. Each of our cells has DNA (the “thing” which defines a cell and our body as a whole combined…) and when damaged to a certain degree becomes cancerous. That is why cigarette smoking is bad for us since it can damage our cells’ DNA and will cause cancer.
